Replay : Johann Chapoutot (Sorbonne Université)

On 24 March 2025, the inaugural launch day of the PSL Major Research Programme “Les fabriques de l’antique” (FAn) took place in the INHA auditorium. The first keynote speech of the day, entitled “Elle est toute où je suis”. L’avenir de l'antiquité, was delivered by Johann Chapoutot, Professor of Contemporary History at Sorbonne University and a specialist in the history of Germany (19th–21st centuries), Nazism and Western modernity. He explored the dialogue between Antiquity and the contemporary world, one of the aspects examined by the FAn programme.
